This course equips public and private sector officials with strong working knowledge and practical tools for effective migration governance in Tanzania. Participants gain a clear understanding of the legal framework, institutional roles, and standard procedures used when handling foreign nationals and migration related matters.

Migration and development, pre and post entry facilitation, labour related issues, migrants rights and obligations, visas and passes management, citizenship, passports and travel documents, residency and exemption certificates, and border management.

Costs
Tuition fee
TZS 750,000 per participant covering course materials, tea, lunch, and a study tour.
Accommodation optional
Available at TRITA for TZS 250,000 for six nights.

Important note
Participants are responsible for arranging and meeting all requirements related to their travel and personal living arrangements for the full duration of the training programme.

Step 1
Choose your intake month March, June, or September.
Step 2
Complete registration by submitting your participant details to TRITA using the instructions issued for the current intake.
Step 3
Make payment, prepare travel and logistics, and report to TRITA Moshi for the training week.
Registration timing
Registration normally closes in the last week of the month before the intake month.
